This month we are directing our newsletter toward our existing students,
to make you aware of all the opportunities here at the school.

We have entered a number of voice students in the Music teachers Association of California (MTAC) Certificate of Merit Program, with great success. This program allows a student to measure their progress in learning music theory and performance skills. We have traditionally held two recitals a year where students get a chance to perform in front of a live audience, which is very helpful in developing their skills. Starting this year we will be holding recitals for the local branch of the MTAC also. This will give additional chances for students to perform and be seen by friends and family.
Palmdale School of Music offers individual instruction in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, guitar, dulcimer, ukulele and drums.
Our primary concern is the safety and comfort of our students and teachers, so we will continue to have hand sanitizers available for all.
We encourage students to wash their hands before entering their lessons.

Our Music Together® program is a fun, educational and developmental program for your very young children (birth through age 5). The Winter semester ends this month; however, our Spring semester starts the week of April 16th. Classes will meet on Tues. or Sat. for 10 weeks, so now is a good time to sign up for the class. Contact us for more information @ 661-494-3421 or log on to our website www.palmdaleschoolofmusic.com.  This is a great way to get an introduction to our music education program and a terrific way to prepare younger students for individual instruction on an instrument.
